When I saw all the planes parked due to the pandemic, the first thing that popped into my mind was how before the Pandemic the airlines had this awful practice of overbooking. Customers got escorted out of planes without any regards to a customer experience or satisfaction whatsoever. Now that some flights are returning is very tough for the industry to sell seats. Customers experience from before left an aftertaste of airlines being just a cold metal plane that have no feeling for the customer. In turn is hard to build credibility and affiliation with that history. What we can learn is that now more than ever any business must get close and in touch with their customers if they want to thrive. Reasons being that with so much information out there, solutions are being tailored to each specific need and wants from the end user. Customers are voicing out what they want and willing to pay for. Listen carefully and adapt!
